No. No. and No. With all the negative hype over spamming the web that's gone on the last few years the last thing we want to do is to add to the negativity. Infecting our viewers computers with adware leaves the audience open to problems much worse....

Spyware is a blatant violation of your privacy and your rights as a websurfer. Partyclique.com will not engage in any of these tactics nor will it tolerate them. If you're ever plagued by one of these infringements from a site linked to ours let us know and we will sever our ties with that site if necessary.

How can I get on the site?
There's 2 ways you can do it.

The first and easiest way is to simply email a decent quality picture to us or mail us a decent quality video. If you don't have the ability to take or send imagry or video you can catch us when we're in or near your town and we can photograph you ourselves.

How do I know where you're going to be?
This is a tough question to answer. The easiest way is check out the where are we now travel dates. However be cautioned, travel dates are changed regularly and sometimes cancelled without notice. Naturally, we don't like doing this and we certainly don't do it on purpose but sometimes it can't be helped. In addition we have very erratic travel patterns and the reality is that you never know where or when the clique will turn up. We do try to make our whereabouts known as far ahead as possible but we can't make definite promises.

If all else fails and you really want to be on the site just email us and tell us so. Tell us where you live and we'll be more than happy to give you advance notice as to when we'll be in or near your town and we can come to you if it's not too far out of the way. And hey, if you happen to live in our neck of the woods then you've really got it made, it'll be that much easier for us to meet up.

What kind of photos or video can I submit?
All images sumbitted to us by our viewers are placed in the various World Clique guest galleries. Some photos are even used for feature material. If your pic is displayed in World Clique then the gallery you want your picture displayed in will depend on the type of picture you need to send. Content is important. For example, if you want to be featured in the Pubs & Clubs gallery then your photo should be taken in an obvious bar and/or nightclub setting. The same goes for any other gallery you may want to be featured in.

As far as video's concerned, any video of you and/or your friends having fun is acceptable as long as it's interesting. House parties are cool too just as long as they're not cousin Amy's 8th birthday party or your grandparents 50th wedding anniversary.

I can't find my picture.
Images are included into the site as we receive them (that makes sense, right). Really, images are added as we get them and are numbered in numeric order. In other words, the newest pictures are found at the end of each gallery, not at the beginning. Also consider where the picture was taken. As in the earlier example, if it's a picture of you and/or your friends pounding down Key Lights on your front porch I wouldn't go looking in the Pubs & Clubs gallery-more like "Cracked Antics." And if it was taken on the beach of Panama City or on a boat at Party Cove then try "Wet & Mild", you get the picture.

One last thing you'll want to keep in mind is "who" actually took the picture. If it's a picture you submitted then make sure you're looking in the World Clique galleries. Likewise, If it's a picture we took then try the partyclique galleries.

The second (and easiest) way to find your pic is to check Where's my picture.

If all else fails and you still can't find your picture, email us and tell us where and when we (or you) took the photo and we'll tell you exactly where to find it-image number and all.

How far is partyclique willing to travel to document a party or event?
That depends on 2 things: where you are and where we are. I'll explain.

Partyclique.com will travel as far as we need to in order to document the biggest, best, wildest events. These include things like Mardi Gras, Spring Break, Fantasy Festival, contests, events & rallies, etc. But in the case of private parties the profile is usually the biggest determinant in how far we'll travel to document it. In other words, the bigger and better your party or event the further we'd be willing to travel. If you're a first time submitter to us and you tell us that your party or event is worth traveling for then it's likely that we will.

But in all fairness to you, the truth is that regardless of where we go we always have a plan B in case the worst happens so our trips aren't a loss (and in some cases they've turned out even better than what would've been expected had the original party had taken place). Other factors that determine how far we'll travel are the weather and how much we have going on at the time of your event.

What it all comes down to is this. Only you know what to expect from your parties so you have to be the judge. Don't be modest here. If you think your parties are worth traveling to document, let us know about them. We're grateful and appreciate any and all party info and invites we get so at the very least you can expect a response and a thank you from us for any info and party invites you give us.

As far as we're concerned, every party's worth documenting as long as it's real, so don't sell your party short. We document any and every party we can find. It's just a matter of how many we get access to. Because we're few in number there are times, of course, that we can't make it to every party we're invited to. But don't be discouraged, if we have to decline an invitation we'll keep you in mind so when we're in your area we'd be more than happy to document your party or maybe even organize one of our own (with your help). Simply put, there's always a next time so keep in touch.

There's so much construction on the site, when will it finally be finished?
Never!
Partyclique.com is a process not a destination. There's always new ideas, new concepts and of course, new parties and events coming to us. The challenge is that we gather photos and info as we travel and usually we don't have enough on the first trip to do a complete feature. In the past we've simply put all pics and info into a file folder for use at a later time. The problem was that after a while of doing this we had so many incomplete features on the table that it became too cumbersome and burdensome to get on top of it so the decision was made that all photos, videos, info or whatever would be entered into the site as it was received, whether or not there was actually enough material to complete the feature. That's why you see so many incomplete pages around the site. When we get new material, we start immediately by putting up starter pages so that you-the audience, gets the benefit of what photos, videos and info we do have at the time and have one more reason to check back.

We're working very hard to complete all areas asap. So please be patient and keep checking in.

Can I link to Partyclique.com?
Absolutely. There's nothing we like more (well almost nothing) than being part of someone else's clique. The only thing we ask is that if you do link us to your site please let us know so that we can see it ourselves and we can discuss a link exchange partnership with you.

What can I do to help your cause?
Quality Control the site. Although Partyclique.com is constantly checked for errors and accuracy, it's a big site and it's possible for a mistake to get past us. If you find a link that doesn't work, a website linked to us that no longer exists, a missing image, incorrect data, outdated information, misspelled words or any type of error please email us and let us know. just make sure you tell us exactly where the problem is-the page, the area, etc..

How did you come up with the name "Partyclique?"
Back in August 2004, after several weeks of conceptualization and the decision was made to move forward with the site the partyman found himself with a dilemma-what to call it. His first 2 notions were respectively (wherestheparty.com) and (partycrasher.com). Besides the fact that both names were already taken they fell short in 2 other ways. Wheres the party seemed too weak for the wild, hard-edged profile he had in mind and Partycrasher seemed downright rude. In addition to these, neither names were unique or exclusive which was something else the partyman was steadfastly insistent on. While discussing the matter with a friend he remarked that he wanted to form something of a party nation-like a world wide clique and so (worldclique.com) was born-or so he thought. That brought one other problem, besides uniqueness in the name making it practically impossible to mistake (or forget) the title had to have the word "party" in it. "After all," the partyman said, "Partying's what this is all about." His friend replied how bout' (partyclique). The partyman thought for a moment and replied. "No."

No!?

That's right. Originally the name was rejected but that would change in less than 24 hours. As the partyman slept that night he was visited by three spirits, three party spirits to be exact, and just like Scrooge in Dickens' Christmas classic he was shown his party past (it sucked), his party present (it really sucked), and his party future (it totally sucked) if he continued to party without a clique. Those spirits had a profound effect because just like Scrooge on Christmas morn the partyman burst out of bed ran to the celly and nearly broke his dialing finger calling his friend.
